Product Description
For 25 years the SR has given bass players a modern alternative. Embraced by bassists over the decades, the iconic series continues to excite with its smooth, fast neck, lightweight body and perfectly matched electronics. The SR305E is a handsome 5-string bass designed for the experienced player. The bass starts with an immaculately finished mahogany body. Other features include a sturdy 5-piece maple/rosewood SR4 neck, a rosewood fretboard, and an Accu-cast B125 bridge for superior string vibration transfer and precise intonation. Cosmo black hardware adds a hint of stealth. At the heart of the SR305Es electronics are two PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups. Their stainless pole pieces offer higher output, clarity, and fullness than any in the SR305s class. Accessed by the 3-way Power Tap switch, these proprietary pickups offer a choice of three tonal personalities: A rich humbucker sound, a pure single-coil sound, or an enhanced single coil sound fattened by lows from the humbucker pickups. Add the ability to dial in precise tone preferences via the Ibanez Custom 3-band EQ, and the SR305E is a musical chameleon. Case sold separately.

5This is an amazing bass To begin with
    By Charles Wong
    This is an amazing bass
To begin with, I'm a beginner.
I got my first bass 1 month ago which was a Squier Vintage Modified J Bass 70's
It was heavy, the fretboard was wider and there is no way to tune the tone and EQ
SR305E is way better than my Squier one
First, it has EQ that can tone down or up Low, Mid and High
There is also a power tap that can give the sound a 'kick'
The knobs have indicator mark that can easily identify which side it's on
They also have a nice 'gap' feel at neutral positions
It's much lighter than the Squier and much faster in action
Tone wise, it's much warmer too

    5Ibanez SR305E-PW
    By Eric L. Spinks
I had to get myself a birthday gift and this was it. I was looking at this one on the Ibanez website and thought, I'll get this for my birthday 'cause this along with the SR306EB would be a great combo, and it matches the décor of my apartment. It was a great buy, and the seller was very helpful with the delivery, making sure I received it in a reasonable time frame with no issues. It's Ibanez and it feels just like I remember, (great).
