Maraca Maraca Booyaka!
These pro maracas are built extremely well. They will last a lifetime. There's only one little problem. They're TOO LOUD!!! I purchased them for indoor use with an 18-piece jazz band. These maracas were so loud, I couldn't hear the drummer, and the other musicians couldn't hear each other. You're likely thinking "Play Softer!" Can't be done. The size of these maracas requires extra effort to move the seeds from one side to the other. The noise can only go from loud to louder. The only possible uses for these maracas are for outdoor gigs, evicting evil spirits, and knocking out intruders. I suppose they would be okay for those things. These are my opinions.

But they are perfect for things like drum circles
I am a musician. I use these for unplugged concerts where I need the shaker to cut through. They are loud and do just that. This is done by keeping the beads large, but this reduces the number in each maraca and changes the quality of the tone. Very course. Difficult to get a variety of sounds out of them. But they are perfect for things like drum circles.
Also seems to have a different number of beads in each one, so one is high and one is low. This is subtle, of course.

Not a toy
These are high quality Maracas and you will not be sorry you purchased them. I play these in church and they have a high sound and are very easy to control. They are professionally made and I do recommend these to other buyers. The color concerned me before I purchased them because it reminded me of a baseball. Nevertheless they are durable and that is what mattered. Thank you for a great product.
