I run a venue...
I buy many items on Amazon and rarely post reviews but felt that this was one worth doing...
I run a bar/music venue and am often losing equipment with the amount of bands we see through here. We were down to 3 operational mics (two SM58s). Though a small place we like to have a good reputation for providing quality sound. The Shures are pretty damned expensive though so after reading through as many reviews as I could find on these Behringers I decided to give them a shot. They are definitely inexpensive but I don't think that is an indicator of quality whatsoever. Both myself and our in house sound man have not seen in noticeable difference between these and the SM58s we have. Because we wrap colored tape around our equipment to identify it easily we've covered up the name brand and taped it in the "on" position-I don't think that anyone has taken notice for a second... highly recommended for those of you who have to think economically also... seems to be a pretty quality product and the carrying case is a bonus too... don't know what more to ask for for the price... peace.

The BEST Sercet in Mics!
By Harvey High
I kind-of hate to tell people about these mics. They are my little secret. I love these mics!!! They are by far the BEST bargain you can possibly get if you're looking for wired mics!!! They sound great, have little to no feedback, look good, feel good, have excellent weight and size proportions and best of all... they are super cheap in price!!! They have a wide frequency response also. They are great for pulpit or solo singers because of the low feedback ratio. With this mic, you can be right in front of the monitors and NOT worry about feedback! So don't tell anybody! 'They' might go up on the price if they find out how good these mics are!!! Did I tell you how great they sound??? They have a high SPL level and a high output level because of the neodium magnet they use in these also. That means for those that yell into mics, this one can take it alot better & longer without distorting. They are low impedance mics (with XLR connectors) so they are PROFESSIONAL mics, not the cheap high impedance toys that you normally buy at most places. Let this be our little secret, ok? (Oh yea, you can sell these to your customers for more, and that's the other secret.) They are cheap enough to allow you to make a little profit on them also! I ask you... what could be better than that??? Our secret? Promise?

Perfect for cheap people like me, not the best mics but a great deal
This is a good deal for the price. They are mediocre microphones at a great price with an awesome, custom fit case. I can't expect 100$ microphones but the glowing reviews had me thinking I would get better microphones than I thought. We're just using it for home Karaoke but the microphones are only sensitive when you hold them so that the top center of the microphone faces your mouth. You can't sing into the sides of the mic which everyone seems to want to do. So you can't hold your microphone normally and sing into the side, you have to hold your microphone like you're going to eat a hot dog, if that makes any sense. If you hold the mic like you're eating an ice cream cone it just does not pick up your voice.
But I'm cheap and besides that issue they are well built. I just have to tell everyone to hold the mic like that and then they are fine.
