Wonderful classroom device
By Seek Felicity
I currently substitute teach and there are several tools that are essential to classroom order. The first is being able to quickly remember student names and the second tool is to have a device that calls everyone to attention quickly. I had tried flicking the lights, raising my voice, and pounding a drum. The students talked in the dark, spoke over my voice, and imitated the drum (creating even more noise). After reviewing the Responsive Classroom's website and searching for tools on classroom order, I found the recommendation for a chime. It has been amazing. The sound is not something that a student can replicate with their hands or voice and something that time after time immediately draws students to attention in a quick manner. I recommend it highly.

I love this product
By David Stein
I love this product. Even though it's made for kids, I'm an adult and, after hearing it, put it in with my other hand percussion instruments.
It has a very pure sound with a long sustain. it's thte best chime I've heard outside of the ones made by TreeWorks. For the price, you can't beat it.

Useful tool for the classroom
Other colleagues of mine have these chimes in their classrooms. I've been wanting to get one and I found this one which is very affordable. I do wish I had purchased the multi-chimes rather than the single one, though. It sounds nice but now I realize I would have liked a few sounds instead of just the one.
