Some of the pictures showed a mic holder and it does not come with one. Mentioning this in case you make the same mistake I made in assuming the older photos represent what you receive. Just to be clear, this was my mistake, the product description did not list a mic holder. The mic is very sturdy and sounds pretty good. I've read an XLR cable will increase the gain but I haven't been able to test that, but it is a bit soft. Clear mic that really responds well to loud volume. Of course you'll need a windscreen, foam cover or dead cat if you're going to have it directly in front of your mouth or record outside (wind).

I bought this microphone to use as a backup for karaoke. it is a heavy microphone that is very sturdy. It comes with a decent sized cord to be able to move around. It has its own case which is a plus. The case could be slightly larger as it is hard to fit all of the cord in it. The microphone and cord seem like they are very good quality. I haven't used this very much to tell the durability yet. It is not the best microphone that I have purchased, but it does have some good quality to it. For the price this isn't too bad, especially since it comes with a case to protect it.

great microphone.. seriously
don't let price fool you. I bought this microphone because i needed something inexpensive for podcasting. these mics are great! they're strong and they pick up very well (i sit about a foot away from the mic when recording) and i don't have any issues. They come with a 1/4 " to XLR female and the cables are really nice too.. i'd recommend these to anyone looking for an inexpensive, yet great, microphone.
