Possible 5 star, Edit: now 5 star
I may edit this to a 5 later on. I am new to drumming again after 50 years away, so, I may not remember or hear as well now. But, this cymbal seems to be lacking 'character' in its' sound. It could be the way I am playing it and the sticks used, that is why I may make this a 5 later (after I get better, if I get better.....muscle memory just ain't what it used to be 50 years ago).
As said, here is my edit and a new 5 star rating. The big difference came when I added the Pro Mark S22 sizzler chain:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dmi&field-keywords=cymbal%20sizzler%20chain. This made a world of difference and I can now honestly give this cymbal a 5 star rating when used in combination with the Pro Mark S22. Note: I did have to cut off a couple of beads from the chain to prevent it from draping over the edge. This is an inexpensive investment and worth every penny!!

this is an excellent cymbal for the money
By Amazon Addict
My son (13 yr) is a beginner Jazz drummer and we purchased this to add to the set we bought here on Amazon:
I also purchased this stand to go with it:
We didn't want to make a huge investment, and as others have said, this is an excellent cymbal for the money.
In case he ever decides to upgrade, I checked with my local music store to see if there would be any resale value. And they said that Cymbals like these sell like crazy.
Very happy with my purchase!!

A Good Deal For a Practice Kit Cymbal
By Patrick Roberts
The highest point of this product by far is the price. I have yet to find a cheaper 20" ride cymbal, at least not one that I could use. This one is certainly usable, and has put up with months of daily abuse with no sign of cracks or dents. It has a very bright sound, one that is not exactly studio quality, but for practice or even small gigs, it's alright. Anyone who's putting together a kit, is short on money, and isn't looking for pro equipment should consider this item.
