Music Man sound and feel at half the price!
I first heard about the new Sterling by Music Man basses on YouTube. I liked what I heard, so I went to my local music store and played the Ray34. I was very impressed. It sounded just like a USA Stingray, but was about half the price. I also tried the SB14, which sounded very good as well. I wanted to try the Ray35 but they didn't have it in stock. So I did some more research, and most people had good things to say about the Ray35. I decided to order it from Amazon. After about a week, it finally arrived. My Ray35 has a natural finish, and it looks great. The action was too low when I first took it out of the box, but I was able to fix that with the allen wrench that was supplied with the bass. The bass sounds and feels wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for the sound and feel of a US-made Music Man bass at an affordable price.

Heavy Tone, and Bass..
By Bob H.
The bass plays excellently and is for all intents and purposes an SR5, but the ash is on the heavy side. My particular instrument weighs 12.4 lbs, which is pretty heavy.

My friend adores this one...
By PeterT aka Senhorpedro
Bought this for a friend and I was afterhim to review it. I am sure I will add to this review at a later stage. But for now my friend just adores this one and say's makes music the way a Ray35-NT is so well known to do. Await a full review after I get it from my friend who plays in a Professional Band.
