5Bulk pack - never be in need of a pick again!
    By Colin
Not much to say here. Picks are typically personal preference, but Dunlop always does a great job with quality. I have never had one of these picks break while playing. Even trying to bend one in half does little to no damage.

The sharp picks provide a little more control when playing - especially for lead guitar riffs and solos. I use them for chords and rhythm playing as well though, especially when I want to work in a little more 'flavor' to my acoustic playing. This thickness provides a decent amount of give while allowing a strong attack when playing hard.

The one downside is I occasionally find the printing rubbing off on my fingers after prolonged playing, but this washes off easily and really isn't too inconveniencing.

For the price, you can't do better. I keep these next to my guitar stand and whenever I am in need of a pick, they're right there. I've had these a while and play at least once a day, and the pack has barely been dented.

    5Can't Beat Them
    By Logan M.
These are the best (in my opinion). I can't complain, and I definitely can't complain about the price.
I can't stand a flimsy pick, but I really don't like stiff picks either. The sharp (how sharp they are makes a really big difference) 0.73 mm Tortex gives my personally favorite balance between the two. Also, the Tortex material gives the best sound of any pick I've ever used (yes, the type of pick makes a huge difference in the sound of the guitar) and lasts longer than most plastic picks.

I'm a singer/songwriter and engineer, and I approve this message.

P.S. Keep in mind that every guitarist likes a different pick, so if these are a gift, make sure they are the preferred kind.

5Dunlop Tortex Sharp Guitar Picks 1.0mm Blue best feel...
    By T. D. Miller
I have tried many different picks - sizes, shapes and thicknesses and have played guitar for many years. These are my preferred choice right now. I play rock, blues, jazz and also use fingers (hybrid picking). My feel is light with the pick and employ very limited motion with right and left hand technique. With these picks I can really feel the light nuances of my technique but when you want to dig in you can feel that too. I bought the 72 pack and split up the numbers in each guitar case.

Using these picks you actually hold them a little higher than your standard rounded tip pick of the same thickness - more pick between your grip and the string. So, they may not be for everyone. I can see where someone who is playing rhythm and pounding some chords may have a difficult time hanging onto these picks. I recommend these picks for someone who plays with a very light feel playing lead. When playing rhythm I sometimes turn the pick to the rounded edge depending on the type of attack I am looking for. Hope this helps...
