Happy with this capo
By J. Venis
I got the CUC03 capo for $9.00, and I consider that a bargain. It takes a little getting used to playing around it, but the way this capo works and the quality of manufacturing are excellent. It grips effectively without leaving any marks on the instrument or chewing up the strings, and it takes only one hand and only a few seconds to place or remove it. I use it mainly on a baritone uke. The only thing I would change about it would be to make it a little smaller overall.
Before I ordered this capo, I had a capo of a different style: an elastic strap-type Dunlop 7828 Bill Russell Elastic Banjo/Ukulele Capo. It was low-profile, but it always required two hands and two minutes to get it on or off. If I wasn't very careful, there was a risk of scratching my instruments because of the poor finish quality on some metal eyelets. I hardly ever used it even in practice, and there was no question of using it in performance. You just don't have that kind of time.
TIP: Check your tuning after putting the capo on AND after taking it off.

Well made capo for Tenor Uke
By Lets go!
Well made capo that works well on the Kala MKT Tenor Ukulele. Rubber pads prevent scratches. Has just right amount of pressure.

Perfect Capo, Buy It!
High quality and my husband loves it. Does a perfect job and the rubber doesn't damage his uke. We keep it clipped to the top of the uke when we don't need it. It is also helpful to clip the uke so that the capo handles are facing up so that it isn't in the way of our hand when we play. We have had it for about seven months and the spring hasn't worn out or broken.
